​Victor W. Weedn, M.D., J.D. is a board-certified forensic pathologist available for consultations and testimony.  He has over three decades of experience in the field of forensic pathology and is a leader in the forensic science community.  Dr. Weedn has been President of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS) and has served on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Medical Examiners (NAME) for four terms.  He has been the Chief Medical Examiner for New Jersey and Maryland.  He drafted the original NAME Inspection and Accreditation Program that is in use today.  He has over a hundred publications in the field, including books, chapters, and peer-reviewed scientific articles, and has presented often.  His current interest involves in-custody deaths.
